The first three sections of Flying Start have looked at some of the academic experiences and skills that you’ll get to grips with throughout your first year.
In this section, you'll find out more about the support available to you from the Skills@Library team.
You’ll also find information about the academic school that you’ll be joining. Each school welcomes their students differently, but we’ll give you an idea of what to expect.
We look forward to welcoming you on campus in September!
In this video we introduce Skills@Library and talk about some of the services offered to students. View video using Microsoft Stream (link opens in a new window, available for University members only).
Skills@Library also offers a maths and statistics support service to help you to brush up on skills that you might need in your course. Join Maths and Statistics Support on Teams once you have your Leeds University username and password, to chat with other students and our learning advisors.
You can also book an online appointment with our friendly maths and statistics tutors or attend an in-person drop-in session in the Edward Boyle library. The support is available to all taught students. Further details about the service are available on the Library website.
Find out more about the libraries at the University of Leeds, and how to make use of them, by working through our Library Quickstart guide.
